Visit the volcano with a guide and hike to the Pico Viejo volcano viewpoint where you can gaze into its spectacular crater. Please remember that under-5s are not allowed to take part in this activity and therefore, on this occasion, children are considered to be between 5 and 13 years old.

Please note we are closed to daytime visitors on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Members, Patrons and Fellows do not need to pre-book on any day at the moment and can visit during opening hours up until the last entry time. Advance booking is essential if buying general admission tickets. Don’t forget to read our updated guidance before your visit. Groups of 10 visitors or more are eligible for a preferential group rate (£5.50 per person) if booked in advance.

Outside of these opening times the car park can only be accessed by customers who have signed up for our night-time experiences. Travel from your hotel to the volcano by day with Teide Tour, which includes transport and optional cable car tickets. Teide cable car also runs at sunset—in addition to the standard Mount Teide cable car opening times—and can carry a maximum of 90 people at this time. Last admission to the Heritage Centre & Museum is 1 hour before closing. Last admission to the Walled Garden is 30 minutes before closing. The stairs close at 6pm, except on November 25, 26, and on December 2, 8, 9, 10, 16, when they remain open in the evening.
