After Manchester city lost their opening premier league match on Sunday 1-0 to Nuno Espirito’s side, speculation over securing signature of Totten Ham Hotspur talisman- Harry Kane has increased. The all time Spurs goal-scorer and England skipper didn’t appear on the bench against the defending champions where his side secured 3 clear points through Son-Heung Min goal in the second half.
The defending champions have been heavily linked with signing of Harry Kane following departure of Sergio Aguero who joined Barcelona as a free agent after an outstanding decade stay at Etihad Stadium. Man City had made an opening 100 million pounds bid to secure his signature but it was rejected by Daniel Levy-Totten ham Chairman hinting that the striker has a release clause of around 160 million pounds. However, Man City is still optimistic they will sign the premier league three-times goal-scorer before closure of summer transfer window aiming to defend their league crown.
