Predominantly, conversations surrounding football has always been linked to the international leagues. The likes of La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue One, English Premier League are considered to be the epitome of football at its finest. Particularly in Kenya, many clubs and restaurants countrywide (during the pre-covid times) were hubs for wild and charismatic Kenyans cheering their favorite teams for the love of the game. The 2019/20 KPL season ended on a short notice due to the coronavirus pandemic with the leaders, Gor Mahia been declared champions. By virtue of been the champions, K’Ogalo will carry Kenya’s flag in the 2020/21 Confederations of African Football (CAF) Champions League.
